The Ulmatec Telescopic A-frame is part of a launch and recovery system for WROV. It is designed for easy installation in a hangar or on an open deck. The Telescopic A-frame provides a safe working environment for operators and equipment.

The snubber includes a 3 jaw latch assembly with failsafe functionality, and a hydraulic motor to allow for rotation of the WROV package during launch and recovery operations. The snubber unit allows tilt in all directions to compensate for umbilical off-lead angles during operations.

The large umbilical sheave with PCD typical Ø1500 mm ensures a long service life of the ROV umbilical.

The A-frame is fabricated as a box beam construction with a snubber unit connected to the cross member.
