LARS hangar doors

The foldable WROV Hangar doors are shipside doors which allow launch and recovery of the WROV. The doors are designed to maintain hull strength and stiffness. In addition, doors can be watertight with proper sealing package which is functional in all environmental temperatures. 

The doors are driven by hydraulic cylinders and operated from a local control panel. Locking pins secure the doors in closed position, and the control system for the door has an interlock function to prevent the door from being operated when the locking pins are activated. Locking device secures the door from being closed when in an open position.
